I didn't have to click separately to open it with the game, I shouldn't have to when I close it either. Why does Steam not close? Apart from using computer resources and data without any need, I would like to know the reasoning behind the decision to omit any such option. Why then does Steam think it is ok to do this to my computer? If it automatically starts when the game does, it must automatically close when the game closes - or provide an option to do this, so those who for some mysterious reason want Steam running for no reason can leave it on pointlessly. When you discover this is what is happening, you then have to manually take me outside. After the game, we put the board and pieces away, and instead of leaving, I just stand there pretending it's ok to stand in the corner of your living room. The only thing I can think of is you have logged into the client with the credentials of a different account. I come to your house to play a game of chess. are you just alt+f4 closing it if so try closing it with the games close option if it has one also you can close it from the task manager just be careful what you do in the task manager end the game right click on it and click end task. Yes, it doesn't change anything, I'm currently logged into the steam account but it ask to borrow the games instead of just playing them, as if the accuount belongs to someone else.
